I don't have much experience with the LAZ school, my story is short... the previous instructor stood me up a week before the exam, I managed to find the LAZ school. After a short contact with Goce everything was arranged and I waited calmly for my test day, I was afraid that such a short period of learning with a new instructor would have a bad effect on my preparation for the test, of course I was wrong - Goce turned out to be a professional in every inch, he was able to tell right away whether I could drive or not, in addition his wonderful personality, constant smile showed me that the previous instructor was not as good as I thought :) after 2 hours I was sure that I would pass and that I had lost a lot with another driving school, probably if I had started my adventure with LAZ I would have saved a lot of nerves and money. The result of this whole story is passing the test on the first try!!!

I passed my test after 4 hours of driving lessons with laz. I tried other driving instructors and they were not helpful at all, whereas with laz he was helpful throughout the process never felt more comfortable learning before.

I passed my test today with two minors and all credit goes to Laz, he is a very good instructor and a good person. When I started classes with him I was very low on confidence and nervous, he very calmly talked me through and helped me in gaining confidence, I have never met such a calm and composed instructor. Laz is a very good instructor, very knowledgable and knows the Redhill area very well, I must say I couldn't have passed without him.He explained all minor bits in very detailed, I asked a lot of questions and he resolved all my queries in a very good way. I have not just passed the test but I have gained confidence in my driving. I can't thank him enough. Laz was always available for me even when I called him on short notices, He went out of the way and was ready to take me for the test on Boxing day early morning which is an unforgettable gesture for me.

I hadn't had driving lessons for 17 years (!) and Laz helped me to get back into driving and drilled in good habits. His feedback was always constructive.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews and I do think Laz is a nice guy, however I was left a little disappointed after failing my exam on a parallel park manoeuvre we didn’t practice. I had already failed a driving test due to this manoeuvre where it was in a situation I hadn’t practiced and after telling him this we did practice them a lot. However the examiner made me do one where there was another car directly opposite on the other side of the road, so I couldn’t full lock when mirrors were in the middle of the car I was parking behind (how Laz teaches you). I tried to communicate this respectfully after the failed test and even said I would let him know when my next test was, but he stopped replying. I sent another few messages but he didn’t reply. I know he felt guilty afterwards as he advised me he’d never know an examiner to ask someone to park in this situation on a test. I asked Laz for another lesson before my test and he said I was ready and didn’t need to go over anything else, so naturally I was disappointed when I failed on something… we hadn’t once gone over. The parallel park steps are drilled into you (and they do work) but as there was another car opposite I couldn’t follow the steps that were drilled into me because the full lock meant my car was too close to the other car. He’s a nice man, but the choice to just ignore my messages after failing test left me feeling a little disappointed and let down. I just said I am disappointed this scenario wasn’t practiced (a car opposite on other side of small residential street) and I feel like he could communicate with be better after the fail. I think maybe he didn’t want to take ownership, I am not sure. I only had 3 minors so he’s a good instructor but I would just make sure you’re stern on what you want and ensure every scenario is covered. I wanted to have another few lessons before my next test, but him not replying made it clear this wasn’t going to happen.

Laz is phenomenal driving instructor and I’ll always remember this journey. I’ve been struggling with my confidence and anxiety a lot, but going from lesson to lesson I boosted my confidence and improved my driving skills. Laz is extremely calm and patient, always with positive and inspirational mindset. After so many friendly advices and tips on the road the success was inevitable. In a very short time he gave me lot of confidence that I was ready for the test in a very short time. Without wasting my time and money he recommended me to do only limited lessons with him and I am pleased to say that I passed my test in first attempt. I strongly recommend laz.

Laz is a great driving instructor, I know driving already however my test been confirmed very close date and I had only 4 days training with him, he covered all the rules within the shot period and made sure I am comfortable before the test. He was really happy when examiner provided the Pass certificate. Really thanks Laz, highly recommend.

Laz is a great driving instructor. He is really insightful about your level and what you need to focus your practice on. I've learned a lot during his lessons and could notice how quickly my driving skills improved. After 20 lessons with him I passed first time. Not only that, but he is an excellent professional - very organised, punctual and dependable. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed learning to drive and it was made much more enjoyable with having Laz as my teacher, he was always able to help me sort out the bad bits of my driving and helped me learn how to drive quickly for which I am massively grateful.
